Why use tend for Business training

Through business apprenticeships in customer service, business administration and service design, we help organisations develop the people and skills they need to deliver great services. Our programmes are available at different academic levels, supporting progression from Level 2 through to Level 6, helping people develop practical skills, grow in confidence and make a meaningful impact in their role. Level 2 programmes are broadly equivalent to GCSEs, through to degree-level routes at Level 6. In addition to this, employers can receive government funding to cover most of the apprenticeship costs.

Closing skill gaps

Closing skill gaps with business apprenticeships & training

From customer-facing teams and administrators to those leading service improvement and transformation, your organisation needs skilled people who can respond effectively to new demands, opportunities and risks.

Our business apprenticeships combine structured learning with opportunities to apply new skills in the workplace. Apprentices typically spend 80% of their time working and 20% completing off-the-job training, developing practical capabilities in areas such as customer service, administration, project support and business processes. Whether it’s improving customer interactions, strengthening internal processes, managing information or understanding the needs of service users, we help your people turn learning into meaningful workplace impact.

We can support a single employee or deliver training at scale, helping individuals build transferable skills that are valuable across a wide range of roles and industries. Higher-level routes also provide opportunities to progress into management or specialist positions.

Highly tailored training

Highly tailored training

Whether we’re delivering a Level 2 Customer Service Practitioner Apprenticeship, Level 3 Business Administrator Apprenticeship or Level 6 Service Designer Apprenticeship, we shape learning around the role, organisation and people involved.

That means your people can apply what they learn directly to their day-to-day work, developing skills that support customers, colleagues, services and the wider organisation.

With flexible learning and expert coaching, we make it easier for apprentices to develop alongside their existing responsibilities.

Solutions based support

Solutions based support

We take the time to understand your organisation, your people and the challenges you’re facing, helping you identify where skills development can make a difference.

From improving customer experiences and streamlining processes to supporting better ways of working and designing services around the needs of the people who use them, our programmes help your people tackle real workplace challenges.

It’s practical learning with a clear purpose: helping your people and your organisation move forward.

Sector expertise

Solutions through tech

Our development coaches understand the environments learners work in, helping them develop skills that are relevant to the challenges they face every day.

For business apprenticeships in care, this means understanding the people, services and processes that keep organisations running effectively – from customer and service-user experiences to administration, communication and service improvement.

Learners gain recognised skills and qualifications alongside practical experience they can apply in their role, helping them make a meaningful difference to the organisation and the people it supports. That’s the tend-trained difference.

The benefits

Higher efficiencies thanks to streamlined internal systems and more integrated, collaborative teams.

Drive growth by learning how to create meaningful, long-term relationships with customers and stakeholders.

Apprenticeships can lead to lead to long-term employee retention and boost KPIs such as morale and productivity.

Strengthened employer and brand reputation thanks to better internal and external communications.
