Entry Requirements

The Level 3 Diploma in Adult Care is available to individuals who are employed in adult care settings supporting vulnerable adults. Suitable roles include care workers, support workers, and staff in care homes, residential care, domiciliary care and home care services.

Learners must be working in a role that allows them to evidence the required knowledge and behaviours in practice. To meet assessment requirements, at least two face-to-face observations will be carried out in the learner’s workplace.

Applicants must have been a UK, EEA or EU resident for at least the past three years and be able to meet the requirements of the programme through their job role. Learners should be committed to completing the full 9-month programme and supported by their employer to participate fully in learning and assessment.
