Entry Requirements
The Level 2 Diploma in Care is available to individuals aged 19 and over who are working in direct care roles within the health and social care sector. This includes care assistants, home carers, adult care workers, support workers and others providing personal care and support services.
Learners must be employed in a suitable role that allows them to demonstrate the skills and behaviours required for assessment. This ensures learning can be directly applied to real workplace practice and evidenced through day-to-day tasks.
Non-UK nationals with legal employment status are also eligible to enrol. Applicants should be committed to completing the 6-month programme and supported by their employer to meet the qualification requirements.
