A career in adult care can take you in many different directions. You might start by supporting people in their day-to-day lives, develop specialist expertise or progress into leadership and management.

Level 2: Adult Care Worker
The Level 2 Adult Care Worker Apprenticeship is designed for people working directly with adults who need care and support.
You’ll develop knowledge and practical skills around person-centred care, safeguarding, communication, health and safety, wellbeing and supporting independence.
The apprenticeship can be a starting point for a long-term career in adult social care.
Level 3: Lead Adult Care Worker
If you’re ready to take on greater responsibility, the Level 3 Lead Adult Care Worker Apprenticeship can help you develop leadership skills alongside your practical care experience.
The programme covers areas including safeguarding, duty of care, person-centred practice, health and safety, communication and leading a team.
