Level 3 Lead Adult Care Worker – Mental Health Apprenticeship

Level 3 Lead Adult Care Worker – Mental Health Apprenticeship
Course Overview
The Level 3 Lead Adult Care Worker – Mental Health Apprenticeship is designed to develop confident, skilled leaders who can make a real difference in mental health services. Over 18 months, learners build knowledge in safeguarding, recovery-focused practice, communication, crisis support and health and safety, while developing the leadership behaviours needed to guide and support their teams effectively.
Delivered through blended learning, the apprenticeship combines workplace experience with structured development sessions, allowing learners to apply new approaches directly in their roles and make an immediate impact on the quality of care.
The programme concludes with an independent End-Point Assessment (EPA), giving employers confidence that their staff have achieved nationally recognised standards. On completion, learners return to the workplace with the confidence, skills and resilience to enhance care quality and promote positive wellbeing across mental health services.
We also offer three other Level 3 Lead Care Worker pathways: Learning Disabilities, Supported Living and Dementia Care. Each pathway allows learners to develop specialist expertise within their chosen area, helping them provide tailored, high-quality support and strengthen best practice across specific fields of adult care.
