tend: It’s great to catch up with you, Fatimatu! Tell everyone a little bit about yourself.
FA: Hi! My name’s Fatimatu Alhassan. I work full-time as a Support Worker at ivolve. I’ve just completed my Diploma in Adult Care with tend, and I’m looking forward to seeing where it takes me.
tend: That’s amazing! We’re so excited for you. How would you describe your learning experience?
FA: It’s been really fulfilling to complete my Diploma in Adult Care with tend. I gained a deeper understanding of person-centred care, safeguarding, and the significance of fostering independence and dignity in what I do.
tend: Sounds fantastic. How did you find earning while learning?
FA: Balancing work, studies, and home life was difficult at first. My Development Coach made a significant impact, though. She was always patient, kind, and supportive, even when I doubted myself. Her feedback kept me motivated and confident throughout the course of study.
tend: We’re so glad to hear that. How would you say the programme has impacted you?
FA: In addition to enhancing my expertise and practice, this qualification has given me more self-assurance at work. I feel more equipped to help people with a range of needs now. I’m more conscious of the difference I can make every day.
tend: That’s wonderful! So, what’s next for you?
FA: After earning this diploma, I have more professional options. I’ve been reminded of how much I love changing people’s lives. We’ll see!
