Since the beginning of our business, tend has valued the vital contribution to our national security made by service men and women. Our organisation appreciates their immense courage, too.

tend continues to be proud to show this appreciation, by welcoming ex-service people , reservists, cadets, and their families into our teams. We've been lucky enough to employ some truly exceptional individuals - individuals who’ve helped us thrive as a business, as well as sharing their special expertise and experience to improve our learning programmes.

The mission

Our work in this area has already earned us a Bronze Award from the Armed Forces Covenant – one of our proudest achievements of all. Today, we’re continuing this mission by actively reaching out to and encouraging ex-forces personnel to join our ranks. tend has long understood the challenges they face in the civilian job market. Our team has seen first-hand the amazing skills and qualities they bring to our work, from resilience, teamwork and performance under pressure, through to solving ‘impossible’ problems. In short, we want more of it.
